# Ball rolls down a gradient descent curve explainer

A 3D animation of a ball rolling down a gradient descent curve, explaining the ML algorithm.

A ball travels from crest to trough along a path of points on a 3D curve, with fade-in and fade-out transitions. The scene uses Volcanic Orange, Cyan, and a gradient of grey. Built with threejs, shader, and svg, the video discusses gradient descent as a machine learning algorithm and lists its major use cases.
